Cassava, a poor man’s crop, became an industrial crop for export
As a poor man’s crop, cassava is now a major food crop for agro-industries in Africa. The future prospects of the plant -which give the opportunity to come up with the multiplication of seeds instead of cuttings of tubers-, are exposed in this program.

L’eau bouillante au chevet de la banane et du plantain
La banane et le plantain sont des aliments de choix pour qu’on les débarrasse -grâce au traitement à l’eau bouillante- d’un parasite gênant leur maturation dans les plantations du Cameroun et du bassin du Congo où les sols et l’environnement sont propices à leur production.
Boiling water to enhance banana and plantain production
Banana and plantain are major food staples in Central Africa and the Congo basin where because of their cash crop status; farmers are more likely to adopt boiling water treatment technologies that control nematodes attacks.
